Undumo
Wesizwe - An evening of African Culture Thurs 26th June
Umdumo has performed live music coupled with thought provoking
and well-choreographed dances and movements to appreciative audiences
at prestigious functions, venues and festivals around Zimbabwe and
Southern Africa performing for both local and foreign audiences.
This evening will also involve students from Garforth Community
College, Brigshaw Language College, Bramley Primary School as well
as special guests from a school in Durban South Africa.

Imran
Ahmad In Conversation Sat 28th June
In his book, Unimagined a Muslim boy meets the West, Imran
charts his course through school, university and into his first
job, exploring with poignant humour and painful insight the dilemmas
of a Muslim boy growing up in Britain.
Unimagined has had some stirring reviews and was selected by no
less than three major newspapers (Independent, Guardian, Sydney
Morning Herald) to be in their best books of the year
lists.

Tony Benn served in the House of Commons for over fifty years
- the longest serving MP in the history of the Labour Party.
He was a cabinet minister for eleven years.
Now President of the Stop the War Coalition.
Tony has published nine volumes of his Diary from 1941 to 2007.
